LEBANON, IN—Subaru of America has hired San Francisco-based Prologis Inc. for theof a 715,000-sq.-ft. distribution center here at Prologis Park Lebanon.
The cross-dock facility, to be located in this Northwest Indianapolis submarket, will be used as aparts distribution center by the automaker. Gary Palanjian, vice president of parts and service for SOA, said in a statement that the new facility will allow the firm to better serve its retailers, as well as support growing operations at its manufacturing plant in Lafayette, Ind.
Jim McGill, a senior vice president at Prologis, said Indianapolis remains a compelling regional market. "The record low supply of largefacilities continues to drive build-to-suit solutions in many markets around the country,” he said in the statement.
