The Johnson Development Corp., in partnership with Cherokee Investment Partners, purchased a 538-acre brownfield site in Webster, Tex. for a mixed-use development. Titled Edgewater, the project will include retail space, multi-family residential buildings and a marina surrounded by residential townhouses and condominiums. There will also be a 35-acre park. Completion is scheduled for 2012.
