Center Openings

San Juan, Puerto Rico - Prime Outlets of Puerto Rico is the newest center opened by Baltimore-based Prime Retail Inc. Located 35 miles west of the city, it is the first outlet center to open on the island, as well as the first outlet venture outside of the continental United States for Prime Retail Inc. Phase I embraces 176,000 sq. ft. of retail space. A sample of the merchants include: Polo/ Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Timberland and The Gap.

Meridian, Idaho - Meridian Crossroads, a 700,000 sq. ft. power center developed by Cleveland-based Developers Diversified Realty, recently celebrated its grand opening. A 109,783 sq. ft. Shopko and 47,000 sq. ft. Sportsman's Warehouse have already opened, while Wal-Mart SuperCenter, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross Dress For Less, Office Depot and Old Navy will be open by 2001. Meridian Crossroads represents a total investment of $62 million.
