Center Openings

West Nyack, N.Y. - A grand opening celebration was held last month for Palisades Center in West Nyack. The 1.85 million sq. ft. shopping, dining and entertainment complex is anchored by Lord & Taylor, JCPenney, Filene's, BJ's Wholesale Club, Home Depot and Target. Other tenants include a 21-screen Loews Theatre, an IMAX Theatre, Dave & Buster's, Rainforest Cafe, Johnny Rockets, Don Pablos and Jeepers family entertainment center. An ice skating rink, Ferris wheel, carousel and stadium seating in center court combine to add an amusements element to the center. Palisades Center is a development of EklecCo., a subsidiary of The Pyramid Cos., Syracuse.

Franklin, Tenn. - Harpeth Village, a 69,110 sq. ft. neighborhood center in Franklin, a suburb of Nashville, recently opened. Anchored by Bruno's grocery store, Johnny Angels Restaurant, Blockbuster Video, Mailboxes, Etc. and Heritage Cleaners, the center is owned by Fieldstone Associates, L.P., a partnership between Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Realty Corp. and George Tomlin, president and CEO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based GBT Realty Corp.
