Houston dispositions no waste of time for Insignia/ESG

The Phoenix and Houston offices of New York-based Insignia/ESG have arranged the sale of Eldridge Place One and Two in Houston's Energy Corridor. Insignia/ESG represented Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Allied Waste Industries in the sale to The Barksdale Group, Atlanta. The 519,000 sq. ft. complex reportedly sold for $50 million.

At 12 stories, Eldridge Place One totals 240,000 sq. ft., while Eldridge Place Two is a 14-story, 280,000 sq. ft. building. The two buildings formerly served as headquarters for Browning Ferris Industries before that company was acquired by Allied Waste.
