Chelsea GCA Realty Inc.

Tony Galvin has been appointed vice president of leasing for Chelsea GCA Realty Inc., Roseland, N.J. He joins the company from Coach, a division of Sara Lee Corp.

Institutional Realty Management L.L.C.

Sherry Koetting has been promoted to senior vice president, retail leasing, for Institutional Realty Management, L.L.C., the Dallas-based property management and leasing affiliate of Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors. Koetting will be responsible for the leasing and marketing of the managed portfolio of superregional, regional, specialty and power centers.

MEPC American Properties

Donn Fuller and Peter Johnson have been named executive vice presidents of MEPC American Properties, Dallas. Both were promoted from the position of senior vice president. Fuller will focus exclusively on the company's large and growing retail portfolio, while Johnson will continue to oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, legal and human resources.

Regency Realty Corp.

Martin E. Stein Jr. has been elected by the board of directors at Regency Realty Corp., Jacksonville, Fla., as chairman and chief executive officer of the company. Stein joined Regency in 1976 and has been president and chief executive officer since 1988. He succeeds Joan Wellhouse Stein, who will become chairman emeritus. Joan Stein founded Regency with her late husband Martin E. Stein Sr. in 1963.

GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp.

Marvin Hill has been appointed vice president of GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp. (GMACCM), Horsham, Pa. He will specialize in investment sales and commercial mortgage banking for the company's Washington, D.C., office. Previously, Hill was with Halle Enterprises in Silver Spring, Md.

See's Candies

Mary Diamond has been appointed real estate director at See's Candies, San Francisco. Previously, Diamond served as real estate manager.

FRCH Design Worldwide

David Wales has been appointed senior vice president and creative director for FRCH Design Worldwide, New York. He will oversee all of the creative work in the firm's New York office. He previously served as vice president and creative director of retail design for Interbrand Schechter. Prior to that, he was a vice president and creative director of the specialty and service retail studios at Walker Group/CNI.

Shirley Hoffman has joined FRCH Design Worldwide in the newly created position of vice president of client services. Working out of the firm's Cincinnati office, she will coordinate all of the company's marketing, client services and new business development activities. Most recently, Hoffman was president of Polly Flinders, a manufacturer and retailer of girl's apparel.

Berkshire Mortgage Finance

Robert Gabriel has joined Boston-based Berkshire Mortgage as vice president and mortgage originator in its Chicago regional office. Prior to joining Berkshire, Gabriel was a senior vice president for Dwinn-Shaffer and Co., Chicago.

Horizon

Steve Moore has been appointed senior vice president of marketing and communications for Horizon, Muskegon, Mich. Moore joins Horizon after serving as a director in the commercial division of The Becker Group, Baltimore. Prior to that, Moore was employed for 12 years as group director of sales and marketing with The Rouse Co., Columbia, Md.

Inland Real Estate Sales Inc.

Charles Hold has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president at Inland Real Estate Sales Inc., Oak Brook, Ill. He will be responsible for all business transactions and the day-to-day operations of the Oak Brook office. Hold joined Inland in 1985.

KLNB Inc.

Bradley A. Kotz and Marc A. Geffroy have been appointed co-directors of KLNB Inc.'s Washington, D.C.-area retail investment sales division. Both previously were principals with Eisner Co.

Famous Footwear

Jeff Sonday has been promoted to finance director and controller at Famous Footwear, Madison, Wis. He will continue to be responsible for the leadership and development of the financial function. Sonday joined Famous Footwear, a member of St. Louis-based Brown Group Inc., in 1991.

Barnes & Noble Inc.

Marie Toulantis has been appointed executive vice president, finance, at Barnes & Noble Inc., New York. Toulantis will oversee all of the company's corporate finance functions, including banking, investor relations, human resources administration, public relations and community relations. Previously, she was senior vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank.

Video Update Inc.

Richard Greene has joined Video Update Inc., St. Paul, Minn., as executive director of real estate, a newly created position. Greene will be responsible for the company's new store expansion programs in the United States. Previously, Green served as midwest real estate director for Barnes & Noble Inc.

Charter Oak Partners

Richard N. Lewis has been promoted to executive vice president of Vienna, Va. -based Charter Oak Partners. Lewis, who previously served as senior vice president, leasing, will add management of the Vienna corporate office to his list of duties. Lewis joined Charter Oak in March 1996.
