Management contracts

Walnut Creek, Calif. - Colliers International recently won the property management and leasing contracts for two California shopping centers owned by San Francisco-based Capital & Counties USA.

The Willows shopping center in Concord and the Jackson Amador center in Hayward have a combined GLA of 350,000 sq. ft.

The Walnut Creek office of Colliers International Partnership will handle leasing for both centers; the Walnut Creek-based property management division - which manages more than 5 million sq. ft. in California and the western states - will oversee the property management contracts.

The Willows contains nearly 250,000 sq. ft. of GLA, with anchor tenants including Old Navy, REI, Trader Joe's, CompUSA, Fuddrucker's, and Claim Jumper. The 112,000 sq. ft. Jackson Amador center includes anchor tenants Safeway, 24 Hour Fitness, and Starbucks.

A subsidiary of London-based Liberty International, Capital & Counties USA has announced plans to make aesthetic and other improvements to The Willows, including the expansion of the Old Navy store. Jackson Amador was recently renovated.

Colliers is one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world, with 248 offices in 52 countries.
