Two employees of the Northland Center Mall in Southfield, Mich., decided to tie the knot where they worked together and began their relationship. Ernst Stevenson and Sheryl Berry were married in the performance court of the mall. Stevenson has been a sergeant on the Northland Center police force for 17 years, and Berry has been the office administrator for five years. “When I found out (they were engaged), I made a joke about the idea of them getting married here,” mall marketing director Denise Murray, told the C&G Newspapers. “But the general manager got excited about the idea, and we decided to go with it.”
