Metropolitan Properties of America James Slaughter has been named COO of Boston-based Metropolitan Properties of America (MPA). His responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of the company's properties and will supervise all property management, budgeting, capital programs and communications for all MPA properties. Prior to joining MPA, Slaughter was senior vice president with Dallas-based HARTEX Property Group.
