Leopardocompleted the 400,000-square-foot Poplar Creek Crossing shopping center in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The center is anchored by a 124,000-square-foot Target store and joined by other national retailers, including T.J. The Goodman Company formed a joint venture with land owners Lake County Gateway, LLC and Phoenicia Development, LLC of Orlando, Fla. to develop the 1.2-million-square-foot Plaza Collina, a mixed-use project.
Stirling Properties unveiled the plans for the 600,000-square-foot Stirling Bossier (La.) Shopping Center. Opening is slated for Summer 2006. The center will be anchored by Target and Belk.
CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. promoted Bill McCabe and Geoff Smith to Vice Presidents — Development. They will be responsible for community center developments and open-air projects in the northeast and southeastof the country, respectively. McCabe joined CBL in July 1995 as assistant project manager in the New England regional office community center development division. Smith joined CBL in June 1999 as a project manager in the community center development division and most recently served as director.
