Balke Brown tests the law of threes in suburban St. Louis
St. Louis-based Balke Brown Associates will develop its third speculative building of the past year at Fountain Lakes Commerce Center in St. Charles, Mo. The $11 million flow-through building will total 387,000 sq. ft. on 17 acres. Balke Brown plans to complete the building in January 2001.
Earlier this year, Balke Brown completed - and subsequently leased - a 290,000 sq. ft. and a 175,000 sq. ft. building at Fountain Lakes. The new building's primary truck lot will total 10 acres and be able to provide parking for 413 trailers. It also will feature 22 dock doors and 15 knock-out panels for additional doors.
