SUPER TARGET has signed on as the first retailer in Phase I of the 750,000 sq. ft. Saddle Rock Village in Aurora, Colo. The 85-acre project is a joint venture between Forest City Enterprises Inc. and JCI Development Corp. Phase I, which will consist of 400,000 sq. ft., is scheduled to open in March 2005.

PARIC CORP. is transforming the historic Paul Brown Building in downtown St. Louis into 222 loft-style apartments. Paul Brown Developer LP, an entity formed by Pyramid Construction Inc., is developing the $53 million project, which is one of several initiatives focused on rejuvenating the Old Post Office district in the city. The building, scheduled to open in the summer of 2005, will ultimately include one- and two-bedroom units with rents of $600 to $1,600 per month.

PANATTONI DEVELOPMENT CO. LLC has entered the international market. The Sacramento-based developer is building a 716,261 sq. ft. storage, assembly and distribution facility for Harmony Logistics Inc., a member company of Tibbett & Britten, in Ontario, Canada. Construction is scheduled for completion in January 2005. With its entry into the Toronto market, the firm is planning to expand its activities in Canada, says Dudley Mitchell, president.
