LightSpeed Infrastructure LLC, a subsidiary of Hollywood, Fla.-based Swerdlow Real Estate Group, has leased 370,000 sq. ft. of telecom space at LightSpeed Center at Beacon Tradeport to Santa Clara, Calif.-based Exodus Communications. Exodus will lease the south Florida space in two phases. The first phase is currently under construction and will be completed by the end of the year.
Buildings under construction for Exodus will contain redundant power supply from multiple grids and are designed to withstand a category five hurricane with wind gusts of up to 200 mph. LightSpeed Center at Beacon Tradeport is located four miles west of Miami International Airport adjacent to the Florida Turnpike.
