Keaton Merrell has been promoted to senior vice president of Johnson Capital, a commercial real estate investment firm. He will be responsible for originating debt and equity for a range of real estate properties including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hospitality and mobile home parks. Merrell joined Johnson Capital as a loan analyst.
Wayne Caplan joined Sperry Van Ness as director of investment and development services. He will be responsible for investment and development property sales as well as retail leasing in Chicago. Previously, he worked with Sheldon Good & Co. and Inland Real Estate Sales.
Chad O'Connor has been promoted to director of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.'s San Diego office. He specializes in arranging financing structures and will oversee loan originations. He joined the firm as an analyst in the mortgage intern program.
Glenn M. Sutton has been promoted to senior vice president in the commercial services division of Randall Hagner's Washington, D.C. office. He will be responsible for growing business divisions. Previously, he was with The Ezra Co., also in D.C.
