Michael O'Donovan has joined Younan Properties as controller. He will be responsible for accounting and financing activities that will support the Woodland Hills, Calif.-based company's planned expansion in high-growth office markets. Prior to joining Younan, he served as chief financial officer for Los Angeles-based Marina del Rey Calif.-based Thompson PBE.
Michael Burer has been promoted to vice president of finance at the Shidler Group. He is in charge of financial management for the company and assisting with debt and equity transactions for the firm's operations in California, Arizona and Texas. Previously, Burer served as controller.
Kimberly Laucella has joined Akerman Senterfitt's real estate group as an associate in Orlando. She has extensive experience with real estate and land use. Previously, Laucell served as an assistant attorney at the Seminole County Attorney's Office.
Lauren Navarro has been named national director of specialty leasing for Forest City Enterprises in Cleveland. Navarro will oversee all of the company's specialty leasing functions. Previously, she served as specialty leasing manager for Victoria Gardens, a lifestyle center in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
