Previously, Emery served as real estate division senior audit manager for New York-based Deloitte & Touche LLP. Louis G. Schaab has been appointed senior vice president of finances and treasurer. CoStar Group John Place has been named executive vice president of Bethesda, Md.-based CoStar Group. He is responsible for quality control and overseeing research operations nationally. Previously, he served as founder and division manager of New York-based Bloomberg's Equity and Fixed Income Research and Data Collection.

Cushman & Wakefield Robert McLean III, executive director and board member, has been appointed vice chairman for business development and public affairs for New York-based Cushman & Wakefield. He is responsible for global interests, business development and public affairs in Washington, D.C. McLean has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 1971.

Liberty Property Trust Lee Anne Maruschak has been promoted from senior accountant to controller of Malvern, Pa.-based Liberty Property Trust.
