The John Akridge Cos. receives excellence award The John Akridge Cos. in Washington, D.C., have been honored with the 1999 National Commercial Real Estate Customer Service Award for Excellence-Under 25 Buildings Category, by Los Angeles-based CEL & Associates Inc. and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

A survey of building occupants and investors, conducted by CEL & Associates, revealed that Akridge achieved the highest level of customer satisfaction and service from an evaluation of more than 5,000 participants.

The John Akridge Cos. services include real estate acquisition, development, asset and property management and leasing. Since 1974, the company has developed or has had under construction more than 7 million sq. ft. of office space in Washington, D.C.

BSI Constructors Inc. Paul J. Shaughnessy has been promoted from executive vice president to president and COO for St. Louis-based BSI Constructors Inc. He is responsible for the company's day-to-day operations. Previously, Shaughnessy served as a mortgage banker for New York-based Citicorp.

Woodmont Property Management AMO Stephannie D. Mower has been named president and COO of Fort Worth, Texas-based Woodmont Property Management Co. AMO. She is responsible for day-to-day operations. Previously, Mower served as vice president with New York-based Insignia Financial Group Inc.

Trammell Crow Co. Scott Bodin and Mike Swink have been promoted from senior vice president to principals in the Atlanta office of Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. Bodin is responsible for overseeing management services for the office and retail portfolios, and is a 14-year veteran of the company. Swink, a 16-year veteran of the company, is responsible for overseeing management services for the industrial portfolio.

Koll Construction LP Donald W. Dreusike has been named president of Koll Construction LP, a division of Newport Beach, Calif.-based Koll Development Co., and will succeed Victor D. Laidlaw who recently resigned. Dreusike is responsible for leading new business development and overseeing general contracting, construction management and design-build services. Previously, he served as senior vice president and principal in the Los Angeles office of Atlanta-based Bovis Lend Lease.

Liberty Property Trust Robert E. Fenza has been promoted from executive vice president to COO for Malvern, Pa.-based Liberty Property Trust. He is responsible for customer service, property management and employee training, and is a 15-year veteran of the company.

Kaufman and Broad Multi-Housing Group Inc. David A. French has been promoted from vice president of operations to senior vice president of Long Beach, Calif.-based Kaufman and Broad Multi-Housing Group Inc. He will oversee architectural and construction operations, including the company's subsidiary, KBMH Construction Inc. Previously, French served as vice president of construction for The Birtcher Group in Laguna Niguel, Calif.

Lat Purser & Associates Robert J. Otten Jr. has been promoted from executive vice president to president of Charlotte, N.C.-based Lat Purser & Associates (LPA). He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations. Otten joined LPA in 1989 and is also vice president and assistant secretary of its subsidiary, Purser Construction Services.

Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. Susan Pausky has been named senior director in the Dallas office of New York-based Cushman & Wakefield. She is responsible for representing corporate users, developers and institutional investors. Previously, Pausky served as a marketing representative with Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. Also, Andrea I. Peskind has been named senior director of financial services in the firm's Dallas office.

She is responsible for investment sales of office, industrial, retail and hospitality properties. Peskind has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 1992.

Integra Realty Resources Sean Hutchinson has been named president of New York-based Integra Realty Resources. He is responsible for the company's business development and shareholder relations, as well as day-to-day operations. Previously, Hutchinson served as director of the Center for Advanced Property Economics with the Chicago-based Appraisal Institute.

ORIX Real Estate Equities Inc. Michael McCullough, executive vice president of Chicago-based ORIX Real Estate Equities Inc., has been named to the board of directors. He is responsible for the company's North American development expansion and construction staff, and is an 18-year veteran of the company. Also, Jeffrey C. Plack has been promoted from senior vice president-controller to executive vice president. Plack, a nine-year veteran of the company, is responsible for financial and tax reporting, tenant credit analysis, corporate services administration, and acquisitions and dispositions funding administration.

Comro.com Robert C. Spoerri has been named chairman and CEO of Chicago-based Comro.com. He is responsible for strategic direction and growth of new products. Previously, Spoerri was CEO for Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle Americas and served as president of LaSalle Partners.

Konover Property Trust Inc. James E. Button has been promoted from vice president of property management to senior vice president of property management for Cary, N.C.-based Konover Property Trust Inc. He is responsible for directing property management and onsite marketing. Previously, he served as a senior vice president of asset management for Chicago-based Horizon Group Properties Inc. In other Konover news, Michael Chlebovec has been promoted from vice president of asset management to senior vice president of asset management. He is responsible for analyzing existing properties and enhancement of net operating income. Previously Chlebovec was vice president of asset management for Johnstown, Pa.-based Crown American Realty Trust.

LCOR Inc. Harold J. DeBlanc III, Peter T. Gilpatric and David A. Sigman have been promoted to senior vice president, and Daniel L. Lilie has been named vice president. DeBlanc is responsible for new business in public and private development and project execution in the New York region. He joined The Linpro Co., LCOR's forerunner, in 1988. Gilpatric, an 18-year veteran of the company, is responsible for generating new business and project management in New York. Sigman is responsible for operations in New York, and previously served as vice president of New York-based Zeckendorf Co. Lilie is responsible for pursuing new development opportunities in New York and New Jersey and previously served as vice president of development and acquisitions for New York-based CDI/EAST Inc.
