Bradley Real Estate Inc. The Chicago-based firm has announced that Thomas P. D'Arcy will replace chairman of the board Joseph Hakim, who will continue his work with the firm as chairman of the executive committee. The company is the oldest real estate investment trust in the nation.

Greenwich Group International LLC The New York-based company has named financial services executive, James J. Flood as COO. Flood is a 20-year veteran of the real estate, mortgage banking and syndication industries, with specific expertise in financial services.

Jones Lang Wootton Mary Liz Murphy has joined the international firm as senior director of corporate advisory services for the New York team. Murphy, a licensed New York real estate broker, is a member of the National Association of Female Executives.

Summit Properties Steven R. LeBlanc, former president of Urban Growth Property Trust, has joined the Charlotte, N.C.-based company as president and COO. In this new role, LeBlanc will oversee all acquisition, development, property management and construction activities.

Quadrant/KMS Management Services Keith Kaiser has been named president of the Washington property management firm. As president, Kaiser will be responsible for all activities related to company operations, client relations and business development.

Hudson Hotels The board of directors of the New York company has appointed John Sabin to the position of executive vice president/CFO. The firm is a limited-service hotel developer and manager.

Colonial Properties Trust The Birmingham, Ala., company announced the appointment of two executives. The newly created position of chief investment officer was given to executive vice president of the company's office division, C. Reynolds Thompson III. Robert Bo Jackson, former senior vice president of Colonial Properties' Atlanta office group, replaced Thompson as executive president - office division.

Building Owners and Managers Association Former chief staff officer/executive director of the American Society of Interior Designers, Robert Angle, Hon FASID, will join the Washington, D.C.-based membership federation as its executive vice president.

Cushman & Wakefield The New York-based firm has announced the arrival of Nicholas Sardone, who will be filling the position of managing director of the strategic agency services division.

Liberty Mortgage Acceptance In a variety of lending capacities with the Sacramento, Calif., company since 1994, William E. Nagel, CMB, has been promoted to senior vice president. His new responsibilities include commercial loan underwriting.

Prior to joining the Dallas-based commercial real estate services firm as executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Steven E. Pumper held senior positions with Insignia/Barnes Morris and the National Realty Committee. He has also been with the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. In his new position, Pumper will supervise the company's corporate marketing, new business development, client services and corporate communications activities.

NREI: How has your background with various associations prepared you for your current position with Transwestern Property Company?

Pumper: It's allowed me to establish relationships with industry leaders on a personal level rather than solely on a business level. I've been able to work with them on special projects pertaining to issues affecting the industry regarding tax, capital, credit, environmental and telecommunications issues in my days during National Realty Committee, as well as focusing on regional and local issues on an industry-wide basis while at NAIOP.

NREI:What will your responsibilities be in your new position?

Pumper: One goal is to enhance corporate communications externally to our clients to increase their awareness of the accomplishments of Transwestern. We're in a growth mode right now both geographically and by service lines. A second goal will be to promote cross marketing within our organization.
