Parker builds more spec in Orange County

In partnership with Hartford, Conn.-based Cigna, Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Parker Properties has begun construction on two five-story speculative office buildings in Parker's Summit office campus in Aliso Viejo. The buildings will bring 300,000 sq. ft. of additional office space to Summit, a 70-acre office campus planned for 1.7 million sq. ft. of development.

To date, 665,000 sq. ft. of office space in eight buildings has been built at Summit with 86% leased. The new construction will be completed by July 2001. The local office of Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis leases Summit.
