The Shelter Group, based in Baltimore, has begun construction of Park View at Bel Air, a 101-unit affordable apartment complex for independent seniors in Bel Air, Md. Completion is slated for August 2001.
The complex will have one- and two-bedroom units. The one-bedroom apartments will range in size from 600 sq. ft. to 700 sq. ft, while the two-bedroom units will be about 900 sq. ft.
Park View at Bel Air will be The Shelter Group's third seniors housing community in Harford County, Md. The others are Brightview at Bel Air, an 87-unit assisted living complex, and Park View at Box Hill, a 100-unit affordable housing complex for independent seniors.
