Ball Metal Leases Spec Building at Logistics Center

MONROE, OH—Ball Metal Beverage Container Corp. has leased 163,000 sq. ft. of industrial at Building B in the Monroe Logistics Center, at 1225 Logistics Way here.

The speculative building, located just off of State Route 63, was just completed in December by Industrial Developments International. The building has 32-foot clear ceiling heights, and a pre-approved, 15-year, 100-percent real estate tax abatement. Si Pitstick and Josh Young with Cincinnati Commercial represented the landlord, while Chuck McCosh with Our Corporate Real Estate Department represented the tenant.

“The key thing to note is that this is the first speculative industrial building built in the region since 2008,” says Pitstick in a statement. “The fact that we were able to secure a major tenant so quickly is indicative of the pent-up demand in the market. IDI was able to accommodate this requirement and make it happen very quickly.”
