Bone & Joint Institute Replaces Warehouse in Chicago

CHICAGOThe Missner Group has broken ground for a new three-story, 41,000-sq.-ft. medical office building for the Illinois Bone & Joint Institute.

Located at 2923 N. California Avenue, Missner recently demolished an existing industrial warehouse and prepared the site for the construction. The institute’s facility will feature a covered parking structure as well as steel and masonry construction. The building will include private offices; meeting and conference rooms; medical exam rooms; MRI, CT scanning and X-ray suites; as well as medical storage space.

The developer is Debb/Kosich Healthcare Developments. Glen Missner is the project executive overseeing the project, Drue Stoehr is the senior project manager and George Bellock will serve as the site superintendent. Stephen Rankin & Associates is providing the architectural services. Construction is scheduled for completion in August.
