Coyote Logistics Expands Space at 2545 W. Diversey in Chicago

CHICAGOMB Real Estate has completed 80,000 sq. ft. in new expansion and the completion of four phases of construction build-outs on behalf of its client Coyote Logistics at 2545 W. Diversey in Chicago.

Coyote Logistics relocated from Lake Forest, Ill. to the 2545 W. Diversey property in 2011. Represented by MB Real Estate’s Senior Vice President David Burkards, the firm originally leased 65,000 sq. ft. within the LEED Platinum mixed-use property developed by Baum Development. Because of Coyote Logistics’ growth, the company expanded by another 80,000 sq. ft. taking space on the second, fourth and fifth floors.

MB Real Estate’s project and development services team, led by Senior Vice President David Graff has managed the construction for Coyote Logistics through four phases of build-outs within the space totaling 120,000 sq. ft. to-date. Construction has included the renovation of the fourth floor space creating an open, loft-style work environment.

“As we wrap up the fourth phase of construction, we’re continuing work on the build-out of an additional 12,000 sq. ft. within the property, with more to come,” said Graff. “The construction will again include green initiatives such as utilizing an abundance of natural light, sustainable and high-efficiency products, recycled materials, low-flow plumbing and energy-efficient lighting.”

MB Real Estate expects the next phase of construction for Coyote to be complete by early August 2012. Reed Construction and Partners by Design will continue as part of the construction team. Burkards represented Coyote Logistics in each of its leasing expansions. David Baum of Baum Realty represented ownership. Ledcor completed the initial phases of construction.
