Guggenheim Signs Lease Expansion for 151,000-SF

CHICAGOGuggenheim Partners LLC, a financial services firm, has announced it will expand its offices at 227 W. Monroe in the downtown

The company said Monday that it plans to relocate more than 100 employees from its Lisle, Ill. office to its downtown headquarters, with plans to grow the office by 200 workers in the next 18 months. In order to accommodate the growth, the company has signed a lease to take additional space at this location, expanding its office footprint by more than 25 percent to a reported 151,000 sq. ft.

“We are very pleased to be increasing our presence within the Chicago business community,” said Mark Walter, CEO of the company, in a statement. “Guggenheim has enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with Chicago both professionally and civically. Chicago’s economic climate has provided an opportune time for us to grow and better help serve our clients both locally and around the world.”
