HSA Commercial Buys Orthopedic Center

YPSILANTI, MI—HSA Commercial Real Estate has purchased the four-story Michigan Orthopedic Center at 5315 Elliot Drive here.

Michigan Orthopedic Center Properties, a group of local doctors, sold the site, which is anchored by St. Joseph Mercy Health System and is within the 340-acre system health campus. The building is about 98-percent leased, as the system occupies about 25 percent of the building and the remainder of the building is used by orthopedic specialists.

HSA PrimeCare partnered with Boler Properties on the acquisition. Greg French with Inverness-based French Commercial Realty. Lee Asher, first vice president with CBRE, represented the seller.

Jon Boley, vice president of acquisitions at HSA PrimeCare, said the building is a logical addition to the company’s portfolio. “We like the building’s on-campus location, the hospital system as a long-term tenant, and the demographics of Ann Arbor,” he said in the statement.
