Irish Firm Signs Refrigerated Lease

HODGKINS, IL—DPI Specialty Foods Inc. has signed a lease for an 82,054-sq.-ft. refrigerated space at 6800 Santa Fe Drive here.

The 204,226-sq.-ft. facility is part of a five building, 938,482-sq.-ft. food-grade campus designed for the food industry on 66 acres. DPI is a subsidiary of the Irish Dairy Board of Dublin, Ireland and came about by the growth, combination and evolution of several different specialty food companies spanning three quarters of a century. The space will include extensive coolers and freezers. The company expects to take occupancy in the second quarter.

CBRE’s Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham represented DPI in the transaction.Steve Livaditis represented the landlord, 6800 Santa Fe LLC.
