JOLIET, ILL.—Johnstone Supply Inc. has signed a 10-year, 236,273-sq.-ft. lease at 3500 Corporate Drive in Joliet, Ill.
Lee & Associates negotiated the lease on behalf of the owner of the Class A, 442,484-sq.-ft. distribution facility. Walter Murphy, principal of the Lee Chicago office, represented the owner, while Steven Tick of Podolsky represented Johnstone Supply, a national wholesaler and distributor in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
The space includes 8,600 sq. ft. of office space and a hazardous materials room. While the facility is cross-docked, following the construction of 23 additional truck docks, it will be used by Johnstone as a single-loaded facility.
Paris Arnold of Lee Asset Management in the Chicago office worked closely with the tenant to meet the company’s requirements for the space.
The new tenant is scheduled to occupy the space beginning on January 1, 2013.
