Leggett & Platt Fashion Bed Gets Updated Warehouse Space by Missner Group

SKOKIE, ILL.—The Missner Group has completed a design-build tenant improvement project totaling 254,535 sq. ft. at 6755 W. 65th Street in Bedford Park for Leggett & Platt Fashion Bed. The furniture supplier is consolidating its facilities in Chicago and relocating to its new space in Bedford Park, where it will occupy 75 percent of the 341,000-sq.-ft. property in the Bedford Park Business Center II.

Renovations to the warehouse included the build-out of 10,620 sq. ft. of corporate offices, 4,000 sq. ft. of shipping and warehouse offices as well as upgraded lighting. The property includes 26 docks, three drive-in doors and 30-ft. clear ceilings.

Fashion Bed’s new warehouse facility is located on a 14.6-acre site within the Bedford Park Business Center II.

Glen Missner was the principal overseeing the project and Jess Knigge was the firm’s project executive, while architectural services were provided by The Interior Design Group LTD. Larry Much of NAI Hiffman represented Fashion Bed in the new lease at the Bedford Park facility.

The Leggett & Platt Fashion Bed brand is owned by Leggett & Platt Consumer Products Group, a supplier of beds, headboards, platform beds, daybeds, futons, and kids' beds in North America.
