Mid-America Opens Office on Magnificent Mile

CHICAGOThe Urban Team at Mid-America Real Estate Corp. has moved into 4,000 square feet at the Tribune Tower, the company said recently.

The team, which specializes in downtown retail, took a 20th floor office at the tower, located at 435 N. Michigan Ave. “We’re very excited to have an office at the historic Tribune Tower on Chicago’s premier retail street, the ‘Mag Mile,” said Principal and Vice President Paul Bryant. “Mid-America has had a critical influence on city retail for the past 20 years, and it simply made sense to move our team of urban specialists to a dedicated space in the heart of the action.”

The company, based in Oakbrook Terrace, now operates out of five offices in the Midwest, including Detroit, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. Recent deals by the firm include arranging eight restaurant leases in the Chicago area, and brokering the sale of the 451,959-square-foot Five Points Mall in Marion, Ind., to a private investment group from a lender.
