Safelite To Expand to Neighboring Building

COLUMBUS, OH—Safelite Group, a vehicle glass and claims management company, said it will expand its headquarters to a neighboring office building at 2500 Farmers Drive.

The company, which moved to the city in 1990, said it will keep its headquarters and call center in five floors at 2400 Farmers, occupying almost 130,000 sq. ft. The company will conduct the expansion in 2014 with incentive assistance from the city and state.

By adding the additional 28,000 sq. ft. next door and remodeling the existing space, the firm will accommodate its significant growth achieved in the past five years while also preparing for future growth, said President and CEO Tom Feeney. “We are excited about our future here in Columbus and nationwide,” he said in a statement. “We have been on a tremendous upward path and this expansion will allow us to invest even more in world-class service, talent development and support for the central Ohio community.”
