JOHN “JANNO” LIEBER has joined Silverstein Properties Inc. as director of development for the World Trade Center. Formerly, Lieber was senior vice president of Lawrence Ruben Co. and also has served as an independent transportation finance and planning consultant to governmental agencies, and as assistant secretary for transportation policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation.

JOHN CRAIG has been named CEO of The Nelson Cos., a full-service real estate development, construction, brokerage and property services firm based in Waltham, Mass. Craig will replace Bill Hassett, who resigned as CEO to pursue additional business interests. Craig joined The Nelson Cos. in 1988 and has served as vice president of brokerage, COO and president.

JOHN GRISWOLD has been named president of CNL Hospitality Corp. and CNL Hospitality Properties Inc. A former director of CNL Hospitality Properties, Griswold also has served as president of Tishman Hotel Corp., general manager of the Buena Vista Palace Hotel in the Walt Disney World Village and operations manager for the Walt Disney World Co.

DAVID GILLECE has been selected as president of Colliers Pinkard. He previously served as executive vice president. In his new role, Gillece will head the firm's business development activities in its three Maryland and two North Carolina offices, and will also retain a large portion of his client advisory practice. In addition, Gillece will lead Colliers Pinkard's life sciences practice, which includes pharmaceutical, biotech and health care clients.

MICHAEL GOLDMAN has joined Julien J. Studley as executive managing director of the firm's midtown New York office. A former tenant rep specialist with Insignia/ESG, Goldman is credited with helping to arrange more than $1 billion in office leasing transactions in his career. He will continue to represent tenants in the corporate, banking, investment banking and finance industries.

JEFFREY KELLY has been appointed executive vice president and COO of LEDIC Management Group, a multifamily management firm. Kelly will be responsible for the property management operations, corporate and property accounting, construction, training, human resources and compliance departments. Previously, Kelly served as a senior vice president for Insignia.

AVI ITZIKOWITZ has joined Atco Properties & Management Inc. as director of operations. In his new post, Itzikowitz will oversee all of the firm's commercial office buildings in Manhattan, including the company's headquarters at 555 Fifth Avenue. Most recently, Itzikowitz served as building manager at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza and also worked in the same capacity at 770 Broadway.

PEGGY MCTIGUE has been named vice president of U.S. Equities Realty's real estate consulting group. McTigue will advise and represent major corporations and other large space users with Chicago-area and national office tenancy needs. Before joining U.S. Equities, McTigue was a director with the Chicago office of Cushman & Wakefield and vice president of corporate and product marketing with Frain Camins & Swartchild.
