PRESS RELEASE: Doug Marshall Attains SIOR Designation

LOS ANGELES - The Klabin Company/CORFAC International of Los Angeles CA announced that one of the firm’s principals, Doug Marshall, has attained the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., SIOR is a global professional organization that certifies commercial real estate providers with the exclusive SIOR designation. Individuals who earn the SIOR designation adhere to the highest levels of accountability and ethical standards. Only the industry’s top professionals qualify for the SIOR. Today there are more than 3,000 SIOR members in 630 cities in 34 countries.

Marshall, a specialist in the West Los Angeles Creative Office Market, represents tenants and landlords with strategic planning, leasing and investment sales services. He is the immediate Past President of CORFAC International (2012) and is also a member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Marshall earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and began his commercial real estate career in 1984. He joined The Klabin Company/CORFAC International in 1987. In his 29 years as a commercial real estate advisor and broker, Marshall has closed more than 500 leases and sales totaling more than 15 million square feet of commercial property.
