Stoutenborough Inc. and Krausz Cos. will develop a 320,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center in Kihei, Hawaii. Opening is scheduled for the spring of 2011.

Cedar Shopping Centers Inc. and Tristate Ventures LLC opened the 686,000-sq.-ft. Upland Square power center in Pottstown, Pa.

CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and the Benchmark Group began construction on a 74,000-sq.-ft. Belk department store at the Pavilion at Port Orange, a 550,000-sq.-ft. open-air center in Port Orange, Fla. The Belk store is scheduled for opening in the spring of 2010.

Greenberg Glusker appointed Bob Baradaran as chair of its real estate group. Baradaran specializes in sales and acquisitions, financing, distressed debt deals, shopping center development, leasing and tax-deferred exchanges.

Stanbery Development opened the Shoppes at Cross Keys, a 121,087-sq.-ft. lifestyle center in Gloucester Township, N.J.

AWE Talisman Cos. completed the renovation of the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls in Niagara Falls, N.Y. The project added more than 65 new stores to the property.

FirstService Commercial Real Estate hired Dylan E. Taylor as president of its U.S. operations. Previously, Taylor served as president of global client services with a major global commercial real estate organization.

Simon Property Group Inc. will expand its Sawgrass Mills outlet center in Sunrise, Fla. with 22,000 sq. ft. of space.

ING Clarion Partners appointed Amy Luparella Boyle as senior vice president and CFO for one of its core-strategy products. Previously, Boyle served as senior associate with the core-strategy portfolio team.

Stiles Realty hired Denise Leyendecker as retail leasing agent for Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Prior to joining Stiles Realty, Leyendecker worked as a leasing specialist with Synergy Retail Group.

Edens & Avant appointed Will Ponder as vice president of investments. Ponder has been with the company since 2005. Prior to joining Edens & Avant, he served as an associate with Tri Properties Inc.

DLC Management Corp. appointed Sally Krauss as vice president of real estate transactions. Prior to her tenure with DLC, Krauss served as vice president of a national engineering firm.

George Smith Partners hired Shawn Visutsiri as vice president. Prior to joining George Smith Partners, Visutsiri served as senior vice president with Halcyon Real Estate Investors.

Greystar hired Christina Bolter as managing director of its D.C. metro area office. Prior to joining Greystar, Bolter worked as senior vice president for the Mid-Atlantic with Riverstone Residential Group.

Coreland Cos. appointed Matthew Hammond director of retail brokerage. Hammond has been with the firm for 11 years. The firm also hired Benjamin Terry as senior associate, retail brokerage. Previously, Terry served as leasing director with Red Mountain Retail Group.

Sean Bral & Associates appointed DZ Realty, LLC as exclusive leasing agent for the Rainbow Robindale Plaza, a 21,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Las Vegas.

Ernst & Young LLP appointed Greg Parker as head of the firm's Northeast construction advisory practice. Previously, Parker was a senior manager.
