Madison Marquette and Canuso Communities formed a joint venture to acquire more than 370 acres of land in Harrison Township, N.J., for the development of a one-million-sq.-ft. mixed-use village. The village will combine retail, office and residential space. Opening is scheduled for the fall of 2010.

ADCO will redevelop the one-million-sq.-ft. San Francisco Mart on Market Street in San Francisco into the Market Square mixed-use complex. The complex will combine retail, restaurant and office space.

Regency Center promoted Nick Wibbenmeyer to vice president of investments. Previously, Wibbenmeyer served as senior manager of investments.

Staubach Retail appointed Steve Dawkins as president of retail corporate solutions. Dawkins has 24 years of experience in project management and real estate services. Prior to joining Staubach Retail, he served as president of George Group Consulting.

Main Street Property Services, Inc. hired Trish Gonsalves as a retail consultant. Prior to joining Main Street Property Services, Gonsalves worked as a manufacturer's sales representative with Vanselli & Co.

Steiner + Associates appointed Anne Mastin as executive vice president of leasing. Mastin has more than 20 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Steiner + Associates, she served as vice president of retail real estate with Limited Brands, Inc.

Callison promoted Dale Ciapetti to associate principal. Ciapetti has 32 years of experience in architecture. For the past 10 years, he has focused primarily on mixed-use projects.

Paul Hemmer Cos. hired Bill Fleener as a senior sales and leasing manager. Prior to joining Paul Hemmer, Fleener served as a managing broker with Caton Commercial.

The Walters Group started construction on the second portion of Stafford Park, a retail development in Barnegat, N.J. The property will include 100,000 sq. ft. of space. Completion is scheduled for May 2008.

DOC-Economou appointed Christine Fulton as vice president of public finance and external relations. Prior to joining DOC-Economou, Fulton served as vice president of external relations and real estate at the Soffer Organization.

Highland Development Co. will develop the Plaza at Calle Tampico, a $20 million neighborhood shopping center in Riverside County, Calif. The project will feature 32,269 sq. ft. of space. Ground-breaking is scheduled for August 2008.

WSG Memphis LLC will develop Midtown Memphis, a $180 million mixed-use development in Memphis. The project will include class-A office space, luxury residences, street-level retail and restaurants, entertainment venues, a hotel and public promenades. Completion is scheduled for the winter of 2009.

Coreland Cos. hired Thomas Tway as a leasing/sales associate. Prior to joining Coreland, Tway served as a retail leasing associate with REP Commercial.

Opus West will develop Haven Point, a 161,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use project in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. The project will feature 140,000 sq. ft. of office space, 16,000 sq. ft. of retail and a 5,000-sq.-ft. bank pad. Construction is scheduled for the spring of 2008.

Highland Development Co. will develop a $35 million neighborhood shopping center in Visalia, Calif. The 14.3-acre project will feature approximately 82,000 sq. ft. of space. Ground-breaking is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008.

Present Value Properties hired Bernie Labowitz as senior vice president. Labowitz has 38 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Present Value Properties, he served as vice president of leasing with World Premier Investments.

Edens & Avant appointed Dick Wilcher as regional director of property management for the firm's Florida portfolio. Wilcher has more than 25 years of experience in property management. Prior to joining Edens & Avant, he worked at Greystone Realty Management.

Inland Atlantic Development Corp. hired Jamie Pearson as director of leasing. Pearson has seven years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Inland Atlantic, he served as a leasing director with Sandor Development.

Del Mar Equity Partners, Inc. hired Jason Beach as director of acquisitions. Beach has 10 years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Del Mar Equity Partners, he served as acquisitions manager with ATC Partners.

Callison promoted Jorge Sciupac to director. Sciupac has more than 30 years of experience in design, including mixed-use, residential, resort and hospitality projects.

Dockerty Romer & Co. hired Joseph A. Hepp as a loan producer. Prior to joining Dockerty Romer, Hepp served as a senior director with Carney Mortgage & Finance.

Inland Atlantic Development Corp. hired Jen Dean as leasing associate. Dean has three years of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Inland Atlantic, she served as a leasing assistant with Tishman Speyer.
