CROSS Development will build Prosper Plaza, a 355,000-sq.-ft. retail center in Prosper, Texas.

RealtyLink, LLC completed Midtowne Park, a 175,000-sq.-ft. retail project in Anderson, S.C.

Stanbery Development opened the Shoppes at Flemington, a 113,454-sq.-ft. open-air lifestyle center in Flemington, N.J.

A joint venture between Marc Realty and Interra-Vision Holdings will break ground on the Shoppes at Calimesa, a $30 million, 90,319-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center in Calimesa, Calif. Phase I of the project will open in May 2009.

Nordblom Co. appointed Todd Fremont-Smith as senior vice president of development and director of mixed-use projects.

MetroGroup Development, LLC will develop 18 CVS Pharmacy stores throughout Georgia.

Grubb & Ellis Co. hired Patrick Breslin as president of the firm's East Coast retail group. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Breslin served as president of the retail group at GVA Williams. He has 22 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Callison appointed Kevin Roche as principal in its retail design practice. Roche has more than 30 years of experience in retail design. Prior to joining Callison, he served as a consultant and acting executive director for store planning, design and construction with Karstadt Department Stores.

DLR Group appointed Christopher Thomas as principal. Thomas has been with the firm since 2007.

CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. appointed Bruce Rasher to head its asset repositioning management practice group. Rasher has more than 30 years of experience in property repositioning. Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, he worked for Consumers Energy.

Michael Collard Properties hired Paul Johnson, Jr. as general counsel. In his new position, he will be responsible for acquisition, financing, permitting, construction, leasing and sale of retail development matters.

GK Development, Inc. appointed Elaine Hoffman as senior vice president of capital markets. Prior to joining GK Development, Hoffman served as director of sales with the Midwest group of Spectrus Real Estate.

RTKL started the planning process on a 30-acre mixed-use development in Aqaba, Jordan. The project will combine residential, hospitality, office and retail components.

Sperry Van Ness Titan Commercial appointed Donald Baum as managing director and broker officer. Baum has more than 18 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, he served as principal with Ascent Property Investments.

Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp. hired Jonathan W. Burke as director of acquisitions for the New York metropolitan region. Prior to joining Ashkenazy Acquisition, Burke served as president of J.W. Burke & Co.

Faison appointed Martin Harryhill as leasing representative/general manager for the Pompano Citi Centre in Pompano Beach, Fla. Prior to joining Faison, Harryhill worked in the real estate department of Haircuttery. He has more than 18 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Crossman & Co. appointed Cheri Smith as property manager. In her new position, Smith will oversee more than 1 million sq. ft. of retail and office space. She has more than 21 years of experience in real estate.

CresaPartners appointed Evan Fisher as advisor to its professionals. Prior to joining Cresa Partners, Fisher worked at Moab Partners.

Developers Diversified Realty appointed James Elliman, Jr. as general manager of Deer Park Town Center, a 386,000-sq.-ft. lifestyle center in Deer Park, Ill. Elliman has more than 15 years of experience in the shopping center industry. Prior to joining Developers Diversified, he served as vice president of development with a large shopping center development company.
