BP Holdings Picks Up Former Bank Branch for Deli Expansion

NEW JERSEYTD Bank NA has sold a 4,000-sq.-ft. former bank branch and retail store at 341 Essex Street in Hackensack, N.J. to BP Holdings. The new owner will use the property to facilitate the expansion of Simple Simon’s Market, a deli and liquor store that currently occupies an adjacent property.

NAI James E. Hanson VP Anthony J. Cassano represented TD Bank in the transaction, as well as BP Holdings.

“The acquisition of 341 Essex Street will allow Simple Simon’s Market to expand from 1,400 sq. ft. to more than 4,000 sq. ft., and will also provide the store with much-needed additional parking,” Cassano said. “With high visibility at the highly trafficked intersection of Essex Street and South Prospect Avenue and Hackensack University providing a built-in customer base across the street, it’s truly an ideal location.”
