Cambridge Security Services Moves HQ to Newark

NEW JERSEY—Cambridge Security Services is relocating its headquarters and national command center to Newark from Manhattan. The company will occupy 10,000 sq. ft. of space at 1100 Raymond Avenue/90 Mulberry Street in downtown Newark.

The relocation from Manhattan to Newark is expected to generate approximately 200 new jobs.

“We took a long, hard look at what was best for our clients and our company, and we ended up relocating here, in my old home town,” said Stanley C. Czwakiel, president, Cambridge Security Services. “That’s a good feeling.”

Cambridge officers at the new command center will use digital camera systems, a communications network and a new satellite-driven tour system to communicate in real time.

“The location and expansion of businesses such as Cambridge Security Services is an economic development accomplishment for Newark,” said Lyneir Richardson, president/CEO, Brick City Development Corporation (BCDC), which aims to support local businesses and entrepreneurs. “Every day BCDC proactively competes for companies such as Cambridge Services and we are proud they selected a location in downtown Newark for their new headquarters, which is rapidly emerging as a preferred destination for technology and service related firms.”
