FDA Renews Lease at 1201 Corbin Street in Elizabeth

NEW JERSEY—The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has renewed its 3,020-sq.-ft. lease at Avidan Management’s 1201 Corbin Street in Elizabeth.

The government agency has signed an 18-month lease to occupy space at the 44,000-sq.-ft. office building, which is located in close proximity to Newark Liberty International Airport and Port Elizabeth/Newark.

“Offering direct access to the Newark Liberty International Airport and Port Elizabeth/Newark, 1201 Corbin is an ideal home for the FDA’s regional office,” said Avi Avidan, managing member of Avidan Management.

Constructed in 1972, 1201 Corbin Street was renovated in 2010.

Tenants at the property include import/export and transportation companies as well as government agencies. The building is home to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
