ROCKLEIGH, NJ—MCP 8 King Road LLC, based in Boston, Mass., has acquired 8 King Road in Rockleigh, N.J. from 8 King Road LLC or approximately $15.6 million. The sale was arranged by Andrew Greenspan and James J. Houlihan of GHP Office Realty, which represented the seller.
Located in Bergen County, 8 King Road was fully leased at the time of sale to Spectra East, a division of Fresenius Medical Care Holdings Inc. The location is the East Coast executive headquarters for Spectra East and the only integrated dialysis lab and testing facility serving the eastern half of the U.S.
The 185,000-sq.-ft. property includes 800 parking spaces, back-up generators and a state-of-the-art fiber optic system.
The new ownership plans to embark on a multi-million dollar renovation.
