NEW YORK—Fresh & Co. has opened its sixth Manhattan location at W&H Properties’ 1359 Broadway building. Construction of the 5,500-sq.-ft. space will begin this year and is anticipated to be ready for opening in early 2013.
Jared Lack of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented both the tenant and the landlord in the lease negotiations. Malkin Holdings supervises W&H Properties.
Located in the Penn Plaza district at 36th Street, 1359 Broadway totals 22 stories and 480,000 sq. ft. of office space. The property offers access to the Long Island Rail Road, New Jersey Transit and Amtrak at Penn Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the PATH, 15 subway lines and all major bus lines.
The property recently completed $54 million in upgrades, which included a lobby ceiling restoration, new lobby windows, renovated elevators, upgraded restrooms and building-wide systems, such as HVAC and security.
