Local Investor Puts up $7M for Upper East Side Property

NEW YORK—A local, private investor has paid $7 million for 414 East 73rd Street, a six-story elevator building located on the Upper East Side between York and First Avenues. Besen and Associates’ Amit Dosh, Lynda Blumberg and Rolfe Haas completed the transaction, representing both the buyer and the seller.

Comprising 21 apartments and one ground-floor retail unit, the property contains a total of approximately 14,200 sq. ft.

“We expedited the due diligence within seven days, including engineering and environmental inspections and detailed reviews of tenant leases, went into contract immediately, and closed within 45 days on a prime asset that has additional unrealized upside in one of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in Manhattan,” said Rolfe Haas.
