MacKenzie-Childs Plans New Retail Location in Plaza District

NEW YORK—Mackenzie-Childs has signed a long-term, 7,700-sq.-ft. retail space lease at 20 West 57th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in the Plaza District. 20 West 57th Street is owned by Solow Realty & Development Company.

RKF Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Robert Futterman and Senior Director Brandon Eisenman arranged the lease on behalf of the landlord, Solow Realty & Development Company, while Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Executive Vice President & Principal Jeffrey Roseman represented Mackenzie-Childs.

Mackenzie-Childs is an American-made home furnishings, tableware and gift company. The company is relocating from its existing location at 14 West 57th Street and plans to reopen at its new location by the fourth quarter of 2012.

The 20 West 57th Street property is in close proximity to Central Park, Grand Army Plaza and the Plaza Hotel & Condominiums. Neighboring tenants include Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany & Co., Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Apple, among others.
