Malkin Properties Expands Leases of Two Existing Tenants at 500 Mamaroneck

NEW YORK—Malkin Properties has worked with two existing tenants to expand their footprints at 500 Mamaroneck Ave. in Harrison, N.Y. Malkin serves as the building’s marketing and managing agent.

Pasternak, Baum & Co. Inc., which first took occupancy at the property in 2004, is expanding its lease at the property, adding approximately 6,000 sq. ft. to its existing lease. The firm, an 80-year-old agricultural commodities trading and consulting firm, will now occupy 14,595 sq. ft. of space through 2025. Malkin Construction Corp. will build out the additional space for the tenant.

David Block, SVP of CBRE, brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant, while Malkin Properties’ Jeffrey H. Newman, EVP, Kimberly Zaccagnino, senior leasing associate, and Tara Long, leasing associate, represented the landlord in the deal.

In addition, Pasternak Wine Imports, a national importer of fine wines and spirits, has expanded its occupancy to 7,720 sq. ft. of space on the property’s fourth floor.

Block represented the tenant in the transaction and the same Malkin team represented property ownership.

Standing five stories tall and spanning 285,000 sq. ft. of space, 500 Mamaroneck Ave. is in close proximity to Hutchinson River Parkway and Interstate 95. The property is undergoing ongoing building-wide enhancements. Amenities include a café, fitness center, conference facility, on-site parking and a tenants-only shuttle service to the Mamaroneck train station.
