NEW YORK—Salisbury, Md.-based Marshall Hotels & Resorts Inc. has added three management contracts to its portfolio, including two Manhattan properties and one New Jersey property.
New hotel contracts include:
• The 88-room Grand Union Hotel, a boutique property located at 34 East 32 Street in Midtown Manhattan. The property is located in close proximity to the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden and Macy’s Herald Square.
Marshall is working with the owner to upgrade the hotel and will oversee the renovation.
• The 232-room Hilton Garden Inn, a property currently under construction in Midtown Manhattan. The property is Marshall’s second Hilton Garden Inn in the N.Y. metro region. The company will be responsible for pre-opening activities, as well as management upon opening, scheduled for mid-2014.
• The 90-room Comfort Inns & Suites in Mt. Laurel, N.J. Marshall will be overseeing a renovation of the hotel.
