Massey Knakal Completes Sales Transactions Throughout Manhattan Valued at $32.5M

NEW YORKMassey Knakal recently completed the sale of three properties in Manhattan for a combined value of $32.5 million.

Transactions included:

• The sale of a vacant lecture hall building owned by Yeshiva University at 237-241 East 34th Street in Manhattan’s Murray Hill neighborhood. Massey Knakal Partner and Vice Chairman John F. Ciraulo exclusively represented the seller with Director of Sales Kobi Leifer and Director of Sales Michael Azarian. The buyer, an undisclosed developer, was represented by Steven Forkosh of Platinum Realty Group LLC. The all-cash transaction was valued at $15.5 million.

• The sale of a townhouse building located at 74 Washington Place in Greenwich Village, which was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $9.3 million to Good Property. The five-story brownstone contains approximately 5,077 sq. ft. Massey Knakal’s James P. Nelson, partner, exclusively handled the transaction with Director of Sales Mitch Levine.

• The sale of a six-story apartment building located at 246 East 53rd Street in Midtown East, which sold for $7.7 million. In addition to the apartment units the property contains retail on the ground floor. In total, the building contains approximately 12,915 sq. ft. Massey Knakal Chairman Bob Knakal and Director of Sales Clint Olsen handled the transaction.
