Men’s Warehouse Takes 8,805 Sq. Ft. for Upper East Side Store

NEW YORK—The Men’s Wearhouse has signed an 8,805-sq.-ft. lease to occupy space at 1219 Third Ave. in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. RKF Executive Vice President Gary Alterman represented both Men’s Wearhouse and the landlord, Fraydun Realty Co., on the long-term lease.

Scheduled to open early next year, the location at 1219 Third Ave. will be The Men’s Warehouse’s sixth location in Manhattan and its first on the Upper East Side. The store will be located on the ground floor. Other tenants at the property include Grace’s Market, Anthropologie and Super Runners Shop, among others.

Founded in 1973, Men's Wearhouse stores carry a selection of designer, brand name and private label suits, sport coats, furnishings and accessories.
