Midtown Manhattan Property Gets Picked up for $6.1 Million

NEW YORK—A commercial building at 212 East 49th Street, located between Second and Third Avenues in Manhattan’s Midtown neighborhood, was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $6.1 million. The sale price equates to approximately $692 per sq. ft.

Massey Knakal Vice Chairman and Partner John F. Ciraulo exclusively represented the seller with First Vice President of Sales Clint Olsen and Director of Sales Craig Waggner.

The four-story property is approximately 8,817 sq. ft. Originally built in 1920 as a townhouse, 212 East 49th Street was renovated in 1983.

The property includes a basement, a 1,000-lb.-capacity hydraulic elevator, security system and central air with individual HVAC units on each floor.
