MPAA Relocates to 500 Mamaroneck Ave. in Harrison

NEW YORK—The Motion Picture Association of America Inc. (MPAA) is relocating its New York office to 500 Marmaroneck Ave. in Harrison, N.Y. where it will occupy 2,476 sq. ft. of space on the fourth floor. Malkin Properties, the building’s marketing and managing agent, is building out the space for the tenant, which has signed a five-year lease.

MPAA is relocating from its current space in Tarrytown, N.Y. Daniel Chillemi of City Commercial Real Estate represented MPAA in the lease negotiations.

“Malkin Properties’ well-known reputation for hands-on management and first-rate amenities, combined with 500 Mamaroneck’s convenience to transportation and proximity to New York City, make the property a great fit for my client’s business,” said Chillemi.

Since 1992, MPAA has served as the U.S. motion picture, home video and television industries around the world, ensuring intellectual property rights, free and fair trade, consumer choices, and more. The organization’s members consist of the six major U.S. motion picture studios: Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal City Studios and Warner Bros. Entertainment.

Comprised of 285,000 sq. ft. of space, 500 Mamaroneck Ave. stands five stories tall and is located in close proximity to the Hutchinson River Parkway and Interstate 95. The property features ongoing building-wide enhancements, including upgrades to its fitness center, concierge service and on-site dining facility. The property offers tenants a fitness center with locker room facilities, a multimedia conference facility, on-site parking and shuttle service to the Mamaroneck train station.
