NEW YORK—Salesforce.com has signed a 74,349-sq.-ft., 10-year lease at 685 Third Avenue. The company is relocating to the location and will use its space here at the Grand Central tower as its headquarters space. In its new space, the company will occupy the entire sixth and seventh floors, while also taking portions of the eighth floor. Previously, Salesforce.com leased 16,350 sq. ft. at 2 Grand Central Tower.

Owned by TIAA-CREF, CBRE represents the 626,000-sq.-ft., 685 Third Avenue building with the leasing team of Robert Alexander, Paul Amrich, Anthony Dattoma, Howard Fiddle, Zachary Freeman and Molly Concannon.

Salesforce.com, a cloud-computing company based in San Francisco, was represented by Gus Field of Cushman & Wakefield.

TIAA-CREF, along with architectural firm Gensler and Plaza Construction, is currently renovating the property to include a redesigned lobby, new elevators and a new pocket park adjacent to the entrance. Renovations are slated to be complete in early fall.
