NEW YORK—Springs Global, a bed and bath home fashions firm, has signed a 10,666-sq.-ft. lease at 100-104 Fifth Ave., which it will use as its New York City headquarters and showroom. The Kaufman Organization’s Grant Greenspan represented the building ownership, while Gil Ohls of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant.
Constructed in 1905, 100-104 Fifth Ave. stands 20 stories tall and totals 270,000 sq. ft. of space. Located in Union Square, the property is home to creative and new media firms, as well as education and financial companies.
The Kaufman Organization and Invesco recently repositioned 100-104 Fifth Ave. through a $9 million capital improvement program, which included updates to the lobbies and elevators, as well as the installation of telecommunication amenities.
With this lease, the property is 98 percent occupied.
